I've just completed 10 weeks of yoga 2 or 3 classes a week with John at Ettalong.. the philosophy of "leave your ego at the door,try not to become competitve..this is your experience" is how I feel about surfing."movement with awareness"I've gained alot out of it becoming alot more relaxed and fluid both in and out of the water..www.yogaharmony.com.au

5 weeks of long service leave but only a handful of surf sessions might seem pretty dismal...but you know what they say..it's more about quality than quantity and it was definitely a case of "less is more"..
Really made me appreciate the sessions I had.Got to spend heaps of chill time with my lady and two wonderful boys and see little aspects of their life that I wouldn't normally be privellage to . These recent pictures are of Saturdays swell..Steve made his debut out at this very special spot and have a feeling it won't be the last time.

Afew weeks ago got talked in to a 5 o'clocker by Will..a very chilly 5 o'clocker but the morning turned it on and was glad to experience such a wonderful time of the day in the vertical position.heres some pics

A dose of the flu hasn't slowed yo down any...artworks looking very refined and bloody impressive to be perfectly honest (guess that happens when you know what you're doing)....pics sorta speak for themselves. This baby has spawned a deep deep single concave under the front foot and tapers down down to a very thin almost' flex tail' type thickness in the tail...which may require additional matting/strenthening...
with a bit of luck she'll have glass on her in the near future and after that..well who knows........as one of yos' favs goes "one minute..........a peaceful valley.....the next...........Destruction..."
i'd say there's gonna be some waves destroyed with this little number around this peaceful valley soon....posted.25th May 2007
Yos board is looking fairly 'alien meets aeronautical' artworks cool...cant wait to ride it.get the feeling it might...just might friggin take off and become air bourne at some critical point.
OK ..the "have a crack" batton has been officially passed onto the next surfboard making virgin...and unlike myself..Johan is already an accomplished artist and sculptor....so the anti is well and truly being upped!....One night into it and it's already looking good.
South Coast goodness. ..March 2007
Just got back from a week down the South Coast. Man what a beautiful place.I imagine the vibe of the place is what the north coast used to be like in the 70s.I was lucky to score some great waves,catch up with old friends and enjoy the company of my beautiful lady and two boys,the whole while having no plans..just the open road ahead.
Life is Great
Got the txt from yo yesterday..beers and surf 4:30.Sweet!!!..Like he said,its just like going to the pub on a Friday..minus the beer wenches. Warm water on a crisp autumn afternoon with fun little waves..what more could you want?

sneaked in a late surf out box last thursday..first time for the 5'10 fishski.Opted for the paddle across from Ettalong to lobster beach then the walk out to the channel markers(to give the arms a rest)rendevous with will in the channel..Yo "the paddling machine" had made it out the back before us even though I had a 15 min head start.2 other guys out ..45 mins of fun fun fun.
